Welcome to the internet home of the Anthony Community Foundation.  Located in the heart of south-central Kansas, Anthony is a thriving farming and industrial town with much to offer its citizens.

What is a community foundation?

The Anthony Community Foundation (AFC) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1996.  It is a tax-exempt public charity serving people who share a common concern-improving the quality of life in the area, not just for the city of Anthony, but all of Harper County.  Programs considered for support are in Grants, which may benefit youth, education, environment, health care, civic and human services, or other charitable purposes designated by donors.

Individuals, families, businesses and organizations create permanent charitable funds that help their communities meet the challenges of changing times. The foundation invests and administers these funds.

The Anthony Community Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, professionals with expertise in knowing their community's needs.  Nominated and elected members of a board serve a three year term.  Each is dedicated to the ACF's mission "Building dreams... improving our community... and insuring a future for our children."
