A concern to local residents is health care. This led to the establishment of the Anthony Hospital and Primary Care Center. Fully certified by Medicare and Medicaid, the facility provides comprehensive primary medical, surgical and emergency services with complete ancillary support. Attached to the hospital is an assisted living center, Home Comfort. The complex , designated as a certified Rural Health Clinic, employs physicians, physician assistants and other medical practitioners for round-the-clock medical service. In addition, several consulting physicians offer clinics to provide state-of-the-art health care services usually not available in small communities. |

Country
Living Center is a 20-unit independent and assisted living complex
located directly north of the Anthony Hospital in a beautiful country
setting. It is owned and operated by Country Living, Inc., a
not-for-profit organization. It was funded by the Kansas Department of
Aging Partnership - Loan Program and the First National Bank of Anthony.
Country Living offers
each resident a secure, home-like environment with personalized quality
care. |
| Anthony is the headquarters for the County Health Department. Other health related services are provided by a chiropractor, reflexologist, two dental offices and an optical clinic. There is also a full line pharmacy/drug store. | |
