Special Meeting
The Board of Commissioners of the City of Anthony, Kansas met in Special session at 4:00 p.m. with Mayor Barbara Muse presiding and the following Commissioners present: Hall, Tedder, Hammersmith, and Dickey. Absent: None. Also present were Donald F. Heidrick, City Clerk Administrator; Grant K. Sechler, Jr., City Superintendent; John Blevins, Chief of Police; Donna Crowe.
CARROTHERS CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
Commissioner Dickey made the motion that the City approves the Contract with Carrothers Construction to renovate the Anthony Swimming Pool for $261,274.00. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Tedder. Motion carried.
RESOLUTION NO. 757
Commissioner Tedder made the motion that the City adopts Resolution No. 757, a Corporate Authorization Resolution with the Bank of Kansas for the Bank Account for CDB Grant Wellness Center. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Hammersmith. Motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Mayor Muse made the motion that the City Commission go into Executive Session for 15 minutes for discussion with non-elected personnel. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Hall. Motion carried.
At 8:55 a.m. the City Commission room was cleared with the City Clerk/Administrator remaining. At 9:10 a.m., Mayor Muse called the meeting back into regular session. No decisions were made.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Mayor Muse made the motion that the City Commission go into Executive Session for 15 minutes for discussion with non-elected personnel. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Hall. Motion carried.
At 9:10 a.m., the City Commission room was cleared with the City Clerk/Administrator and Chief of Police remaining. At 9:25 a.m., Mayor Muse called the meeting back into regular session. No decisions were made.

MERIT RAISES
Commissioner Tedder made the motion that the City gives Merit Raises of 3% to City Superintendent Grant Sechler, Police Chief John Blevins and City Clerk/Administrator Don Heidrick. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Dickey. Motion carried.
Mayor Muse made the motion that the City Commission meeting be adjourned. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Dickey. Motion carried.
