The ACF has been instrumental in many projects
throughout the community.

Decorative security fencing
of rot-iron with Kansas limestone pillars and cornerstones has been installed
around Memorial Park on west Main St.

A brick walkway through
Memorial Park features engraved bricks with names of those who have donated
bricks to the ACF.

Safety-conscious playground
equipment was installed in Memorial Park.

Recently air-conditioning
was installed in the Anthony Municipal Hall, a building originally built in 1888
as the Opera House. It has been well-preserved over the years and is used
for "Friendship Meals", Arts and Craft Shows, and sporting events. Many
Anthony High School functions were held in this regal structure such as
graduations, sporting events and theatrical performances. Funding for the
project primarily came through donations from the Anthony High School Alumni
Association.

Skateboard enthusiasts
worked many odd jobs to earn a safe place to ride their skateboards. That
money was put with a $15,000 grant from McDonald's Corp. to build the Skate Park
just south of the local public swimming pool.
College scholarships are
presented each year through the foundation. Students may apply through the
counselor's offices in Chaparral High School and in Attica High School.
They award two $2,000 scholarships and one $1,000 to Harper County students.
