Anthony Medical
Center is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with attached Rural
Health Clinic, Anthony Primary Care. Fully certified by Medicare
and Medicaid, the facility provides comprehensive primary medical,
surgical and emergency services with complete ancillary support.
With six local providers to choose from, the entire family's
medical needs can be met.
In 2006, a new addition
was built to accommodate the Anthony Outpatient Specialty Clinic,
which offers local residents the availability of appointments with
specialty physicians, without the hassle of driving out of the area.
Current specialties provided are: Surgery, Cardiology, Oncology and
Hematology, Gynecology, Physiatry (non-surgical pain management),
Nephrology (Kidney Care), Orthopaedics, and Urology."

Country
Living Center is a 20-unit independent and assisted living complex
located directly north of the Anthony Hospital in a beautiful country
setting. It is owned and operated by Country Living, Inc., a
not-for-profit organization. It was funded by the Kansas Department of
Aging Partnership - Loan Program and the First National Bank of Anthony.
Country Living offers
each resident a secure, home-like environment with personalized quality
care. |
| Anthony is the headquarters for the County Health Department. Other health related services are provided by a chiropractor, reflexologist, two dental offices and an optical clinic. There is also a full line pharmacy/drug store. | |
