Obtain official certifications while in high school: CAN, HHA, First Aid, EMT, NC3 Welding, AWS Welding, Student ASE Brakes, Steering, Suspension, OSHA-10, NCCER. Provides job shadows and other exposure to careers and experiences that are meaningful, hands on, and relevant to their passions and skill set.
