Established in 1897, the Anthony Public Library is a member of the South Central Kansas Library System.  Housed in a Carnegie building for 83 years, the library moved to its present location a few blocks east of downtown Anthony in 1995.
The library provides the public with a wide variety of materials, in addition to inter-library loan services.  The children’s department is in its own area, yet private for younger readers.  Computers with Internet and Wi-Fi capabilities are available to the public at no charge.
